BIOGRAPHY
“Your interpretation has a secret magic”,
describes the German newspaper BNN about the Brazilian pianist Ana Flávia Frazão. Critical and public success in several countries where he performs, due to his refined and very expressive touch, he won the JK National Competition (Brasília, 1992) and, among the other achievements throughout his career, is the first place with the Augarten Trio at the Sala Barroca Concert Series in Kyoto, Japan, in 2001.
Born in Goiânia, he graduated from the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), did a master's and doctorate, obtaining top marks from the Higher School of Music in Karlsruhe, Germany, where he lived for eight years. With bassist Milton Masciadri, he released his first CD, Vocalize, in 2004, through Selo Sinfônica. In 2012, he recorded the entire work of Heitor Villa-Lobos for piano and violin with the German violinist Laurent Albrecht Breuninger, for the Telos label. And, in 2015, it repeated the partnership on CD and DVD with works by French and Brazilian composers.
The pianist's busy career is also reconciled with her activity as a professor at UFG and with the coordination of nationally consolidated projects, such as Concerts in the City, UFG Concerts and the International Symposium of Performance.
